Default pci graphics card

A freind of mine has a 2.4 celron motherboard with no agp slot. It has an onboard video card . He wants to install a different grapgics card for games. Could anyone suggest a decent video card that would work using a pci slot. Or is this even feasible. thanks ahead for any imput.

Its not really feasible. PCI slots are so incredibly slow that even if u managed to get a decent card in there, it would be held back.

however, i do believe that there is a PCI FX 5600 somewhere out there if u want to try.

Thanks for the replies. In terms of performance would something like the nvidia 5500 or 5700 pci do as well as the agp geforce ti4200. I ask this because that is what I have in my computer and it gives me something to compare with.. thanks again
