PCI-E 6600GT Rules HL2 and DOOM3. I play them both at full specs no prob. Of course, yeah 1024 RAM helps alot too.

I thought that PCI - E was faster than AGP? Or twice the bandwidth or some ****.

How is PCI-E better?

Also, I see some 256 meg radeon's and geforces on newegg that are cheaper than the 6600gt, even though the 6600gt it has better performance for games like far cry?

You want the GeForce 6800 GT, or if that is too much $$$, go for the 6600GT. eVGA for both!

XS RULES!!! I have officially referred you.

I smell fanboyism in that article, or at least dumb people. The AGP and PCI-E 6600GT should not have a 1\3rd difference from eachother, at a point PCI-E winning too.

Don't worry about the 6600GT's 128meg, it is fine. You have to appreciate the 6600GT having the fastest memory money can buy as well. GDDR3 on the GT vs GDDR1? in the vannila.

The 6600GT will beat out the 9800pro's in everything

Yes, under most circumstances. A few times an X700 will outperform, but rarely. The 256MB doesnt make a difference.
