Default pCi express. ? i dont get something.

hello,

i was wondering, and ill explain my problem quickly.

#1 - cards like the 6800 ultra, and the evga, i dont understand that it means by . takes up a pci slot (dose it plug into it or just cover it?)

#2 - pic cards, do they requite any harder installation, and is there any downpoints about the, please give me as much info (link possibly) about that issue because i really known nothing mroe then %5 about them..

#1 - It covers it.

#2 - Installation is the same as AGP cards, just install the drivers.

downside: PCI is slower than AGP

PCI-E (express) is new technology wich is faster than both PCI and AGP.

the 6800 GT's don't cover the extra PCI slot but the Ultra's do
also what TheMajor said is right
