the higher end cards like the 6800's and X800's almost use all of AGP 8x's bandwith

also, what Nubius said is right; not all the expensive cards are in PCI-E
the 6600 GT is actually more expensive in AGP than PCI-E, and the PCI-E version performs better

Statistics now say the PCI-eVGA 6800 GT performs at a lower fps with games like doom3 than the AGP 6800GT? Don't know?

Haha no problem Nubius. Bigdawgjts2663, I wouldent be surprised. But you have to remember that PCI-E has not been used near its full potential.
