I have a feeling in the transition we'll be seeing cards with both AGP and PCI express iterations for a short time while PCI Express card saturate the market (with the pci express occupying the top of the line and trickling down the chain towards midrange and then lowend). Once they do, expect a big price drop in AGP cards, though it really wont matter because anything running on AGP would more than likely be too slow to run the next gen games.
