I currently have a 256MB module of MCI/MDT PC150Mhz from Germany. I can't get it to run at 166Mhz though. From the test's I have seen I figured I would be able to. However this is not so.
I was *thinking* about trying some house brand PC166. This is ONLY because no one makes PC150/166 anymore, other than the Germans..

I wanted to know if anyone has bought that RAM before and or knows what the actual brand on the memory is. Reason I ask.. It may be generic.. However that only means some other company assembled the RAM. There are only a few companies in the world that have the technology to actually develop the memory itself.
PS- No I am not willing to "upgrade" my system to a more "modern" setup. The system I have now kicks.. It just needs more memory. If I am going to add more memory, it might as well be the fastest I can get.
