PC Wont boot from CD/DVD

Hi, My old computer thats still up-to-date, will not boot from the cd/dvd i've changed the bios start up to the right order, it tells me to press any key when ready, but it still dont work? Thank-you

I had a problem of the sort. It turned out i didn't have a jumper so i got one off a old computer i had and set it up. Works now

I mean it used to work, but now it dont????
