PC Shuts down after 30sec of boot up.

The motherboard has a standard IDE port (red) and two Raid ports (yellow). Since you aren't using raid (you have one HD right?), I'd plug the HD and CDROM in the red port, set the HD as master and CDROM as slave.

Okay, but since I'm new to building, and stuff, exactly how do I change it from master to slave, and vise versa?

There will be a jumper (a plastice coated connector that shorts two pins) on the back of your drive and a picture either on the drive or in your documentation as to where to place the jumper for slave, standalone, master, or cable select.

Raid is opening up a new bag of worms that you don't want to do yet. Later you might want to pick up a couple of used drives of the same size just to experiemnt. For now, stick with normal IDE.

Good to see it's working. Make sure you install your motherboard (chipset) drivers first before installing any other drivers.
