Hi, I'm new here, and I appologize if this post is against the rules, and will not be offended if this is deleted. I participate at other smaller communities but I wanted the opportunity to ask a bit of a larger one.
I am about to open my business selling computers via the internet, however, I'm just stuck on what types of configurations to offer. A long time ago I used to be an enthusiast but I dropped out of it completely, and last I remember they were barely talking about releasing Opteron and 64s. Now I see SATAII, PCI-e, dual video cards, etc. Anyways,
I just want to ask you guys for opinions on builds to offer.
With the changing market, I'm going to need someone to update me.
So what I'm looking for is setups for:
Budget Gaming,
Gaming,
High Performance Gaming,
Decent Video Editing,
Insane Best of Video Editing
Decent Power User,
Insane Best of Power User
Now, I haven't decided on my business's name yet, which hopefully will come soon, but have been working on totally coding the website and preparing it for launch. I won't be selling parts individually, at least to start out.
I will offer 2 $25 gift certificates (for the best 2 people) to whoever can list possible configurations for all that I have listed.
While you may not want this gift cert. to buy a computer from my business because you all piece together your own computers, I will offer this to you guys for any computer part you want (that I can attain). I live very close to a resale distributor. I will price you for less than NewEgg, and then take $25 off of that. Just a small catch, once my business opens (in about a month or two), I can then get you your part or create your system for $25 off, so you have to wait a little bit
