Default PC or Mac

Im getting a new laptop and i need help on deciding weather to get a mac 12" ibook/12" power book or a hp zd8007 pc

which one is the best?

I'm just gonna use it for doing course work, dvd watching and burning, surfing the net and playing some games but nothing to hardcore

both macs and pc will do that.

mac good because you dont have to worrie about virus or spyware (prob wont support the games you have)

pc good because they support much more software and support games

its really hard to decide, those macs look really nice, but i am more able to use windows, hmmm the mac would prob give you less problems,

what operating system are you most used to?

well if i get the mac it would be the first mac ive had, but i can use mac's because i know people who have.

Well its up to you, i think personally i would go for the pc only because i am more familiar with windoz but the macs look and perform well

If I needed a laptop, I would always go with a mac, as any laptop will not be very good at gaming, due to not very good graphics cards, and they don't have very good cooling.

mac osx isn't hard to use either, if anything it is a bit easier to use.
