Default Paste

Hey um, i bought a retail AMD 64 3000 proc from newegg.com

the thing is i dont know if it comes with thermal paste. does it come with it on already or do i need to buy some cuz mine didnt come with a seperate paste.

Order some Arctic Silver, you'll do well with that. Don't use any of those factory standard heat pads/pastes, they're just not as good.

Yeah, the pads arn't very good to begin with. I wouldn't trust the stock paste on such an important componant, only the best when you spend that kind of money on some new hardware. Get some arctic silver, it's worth the money.
