yeah i think the guy who wiped out the drive messed around with hard drive phisiclly. because he told me there was a way to reformat a drive by doing something to the drive phisically. there is noise being made from the harddrive. i hope its not a hard drive failure because i dont really want to spend some money on a new one.

thanks anyway, i figured out how to boot it up. since the cdrom wasnt booting up, i had to go to the bios and change the boot selection and then once i did it, it booted up.
