part of flash usb drive formatted as cd drive?

i recently recieved a promotional usb flash drive (128mb) from volvo and i hoped to format it and use it for myself since otherwise i would just toss it, but a large majority of the space is formatted to show up as a cd drive to play their promo video. i checked around and didn't find an obvious solution so i was hoping that i could post here to get some suggestions on how i could completely reformat the drive and if its even possible. i appreciate any help.

i never have any luck reformatting promotional stuff. its anoying. thats the only reason i pick it up in the forst place.....
