Default packard bell recovery

hi guys am new to this and not sure if posting in the correct place i have a packard bee imedia 5055 that need restoreing to factory settings but i havent got the recovery disks and was wondering if someone could help with this as i am at a loss at what to do have tried f10 f11 but nothing. the operating system is windows xp home edition any help would be grateful and it might be best to talk me through what has to be done thanks

You got a Packard bee? That's a nasty bug. j/k

If you don't have a restore CD or restore partition, there is little you can do. Least you can do is call them up and ask for restore CD's.

thats your best bet, if you cant get them you will need a OEM CD of windows and use your windows code from the laptop to re install a fresh copy, but then you will have to re install all drivers and software you want compleetly.... not fun at all if you dont know where to start from.
