Hello,

As you can probably see from my sig i am running a Intel P4 3.2Ghz at stock speeds and with the stock heatsink in place.

I have never attemped to over clock it and dont plan to.!! ( i know why the hell did i by an intel when all i wanna do is play games!!    )

My question is at what temperature would you guys start gettin worried? Every time i host a CSS server with 5 bots my CPU temp hits 75C! and my motherboard starts beeping, which i am guessing is the overheat warning that is set to go off at 80C!

Ok i suggest getting an aftermarket HSF with some AS5.

But just FYI the stock HSF is the best solution for LGA775 prescotts. but since you have a 478, go with a high RPM, high CFM HSF.

For me, stock everything and without ac, i get 50Celcius, at idle, i start to get worried at around 65C. Invest $10 for arctic silver thermal paste. Brings it down.
