Can someone please tell me what is like the max for the temp, i have my mother board set to 60 degrees Celcius shut down, but some ppl say it is ok to go higher but i dont want to take the risk, so can someone please tell me if iis ok to go higher.

Yeah, you can go higher, 65-70 would be no problem.

My friend has serious heat problems with his 478 3.0ghz prescott. For Overclockers, 60 degrees celcius is really hot, while 70 degrees celcius is labeled insane. But they can contain those temps stably. You have nothing to worry about at all. What kind of P4 is tha?
