wats different about the extreme edition ht p4 than witht he normal p4 ht technology.

i think the biggest difference is that the extreme edition has a L3 cache of 2MB. This is super-fast memory that helps the overall performance of the CPU.

The regular P4 HT has no L3 cache.

Yeah, the EE just allows for more stuff to be held on the processor at one time before it has to go to the ram which is slow compared to onchip memory, thus making it a lot faster.
