Overheating

This is a bit off topic, but it fits since people are talking about dust and bugs in the case. I found a nifty little thing that I use. My wife does alot of sewing and she has a thin cotton material that she uses for a backing.. It's a little stiff, but you can just about see through it.. In fact.. It looks alot like the material used in the better air conditioner filters. I get about a yard of that, cut it to size, and put it in front of the intake fans (make sure that you have a grill or through hole cover for your fans first). I use an adjustable speed fan system on the front fans and run them at about 4000rpm. The higher fan speed is necessary to make up for the minor airflow block caused by the filter. HOWEVER, it works like a charm (and I smoke). Keeps the case nice and clean, and I don't have any overheating problems.. Just change out the filters when they start getting dirty, and the material only costs about $1 a yard and it's 45in wide so a yard lasts me a long time.

Air flow and fan configuration:
2 front bottom (intake)
1 side -towards the back and just below midline- (intake)
2 rear top (exhaust)
