OS download on P6T

Hi

I have been unable to download Win 7 RC onto my new build because the computer does not seem to be recognizing the boot DVD. I have set the Bios to boot from the CD-DVD drive but when I turn the computer on I get a screen asking whether to enter setup or to view the POST screen. If I go to the POST i don't actually get the POST, it just flashes through one screen that is too quick to read and then I get a repeating message to reboot and select a boot device or insert media into selected boot device and press a key. Nothing happens when I put in the disk and press a key. Same thing when I start with the disk in the drive.

I have checked my connections and the drive is on and the bios is detecting it. How do I get it to boot from the disk?

Have you burned it as a bootable ISO disk with applicable software (PowerISO, MagicISO, ect. ect.), or have you just burned it as a data disk with the ISO in it?

Are you sure you burned the iso image and not just the file to the disk?
