For those people that have not seen it yet, this is the Optimus keyboard.
What make this keyboard so special it hat the key are made up of OLED screens. Therefore you can your keys from your standard QWERTY layout just about any thing. Any Languange. Or Symbols for Macros.

I first heard about this keyboard mid last year.
Currently, the excepted RRP on this keyboard is about US$200-$300.

I got an email from these guys today with an update on this product. :-

Subject: A piece of news about Optimus keyboards

Ladies and gentlemen,

A while ago you signed up for newsletters about the Optimus keyboard. I'm
delighted to inform you that we are rolling out the Optimus mini three
keyboard.

Details with images are available at http://www.artlebedev.com/portfolio/optimus-mini/.

It's a three-key keyboard with big color OLED screens. The price of the
keyboard is $100 until April 2, 2006. We are looking forward to receiving a
fresh lot of the keyboards ready for shipment on May 15. We are planning to
give you the opportunity to pre-order the keyboard at our online store this
week.

P. S. As regards the full-fledged Optimus keyboard, we still expect to
obtain its samples by the end of this year. Production is slated for next
year. But before that, we are planning to make another model, of which you
will be immediately notified.

Looks like production has been pushed back to the end of this year (at least). However for those people interested, there is a sample 3 Button keyboard that can be purchased in a few months time.

Actually when you have that much money, expensive things like cars and high end computer parts don't seem so "cool" anymore.

I know that some people might of seen thing before. However for those people that want to spend $100 on a sample, they are welcome to do so.

Brilliant idea, Bad price. i don't care if its the best, most reliable keyboard in the world, its wtill not worth $300.

I don't need a new keyboard anyway, my saitek eclipse does me fine.
