Default One USB port port working

I just bought a new DIY PC and discovered that one out of the two front casing USB ports is not working...
(my thumb drive LED light up only at one port and hence Windows only can detect one...)

I checked the mobo and read the manual and checked that all the wires are fitted appopriately.... y is the USB port still not working?

Perhaps you have a loose/broken wire somewhere. If you have a multimeter around you could easily check to see it there is continuity of electricity from the mobo side's connector and the port itself.
