I'm building a gaming computer, and I was wondering which motherboard would be the best to get. I have an xp 2500+ processor, 512mb Mushkin RAM, Toshiba cd/dvd drive, 80gb Seagate hdd, a Raidmax case with 350w psu, and most likely a 9600xt Ultra video card. The choice of mobo comes down to these two: SOYO KM400 Chipset Motherboard for AMD Socket A CPU, Model "SY-K7VMP2" - RETAIL and the ASUS KM400 Chipset Motherboard for AMD Socket A CPU, Model "A7V8X-MX SE" -RETAIL. They're both approximately the same price, but which one would be the best to get with the aforementioned parts? Which one would be the best one for the money ? Here are the links:

Any input is appreciated, thanks.

Go with the asus, no question. Also, it may be a good idea to go with a mobo that supports 400 FSB, they arenÂ’t much more expensive.

This is slightly better again, as it uses the Nforce 2 chipset. It depends on your budget though; the A7V600-X is still a good board.
