so i reformatted, put win98 on there

but it stays on the win98 loading screen for like 20 mins or longer and will never load the desktop.. only once

my bios is good

Windows 98 is a crap operating system. It had so many glitches it was ridiculous. You should try something higher and that should work.

Yeah, is this for the system you have in your sig? If it is, putting Windows 98 on that is a sin!
