What exactly is onboard SATA/RAID? What's the purpose of having it? Is it something important to have? I'm looking at the following two motherboards, and I've heard they're both good. However, the less expensive motherboard has the onboard SATA/RAID, more USB ports, and a different chipset. So, which of these motherboards would be the best one to get if I'm going to build a gaming computer using an athlon xp 2500+, seagate 80gb hdd, and 512mb of pc3200 mushkin ram?
