omg guess what i just realized

i just realized that when i installed my cpu and heatsink i didnt use any thermal paste. It just dawned of me after hearing so much talk about arctic 5 that i realized that i never used any. would this be responsible for my frequent computer shutdowns? jesus fricken christ and this is with my cpu being overclocked from 1.8ghz to 2.2ghz have i caused irreparable damage to it.

OK, well the first thing you should do is apply the thermal paste ASAP. If your computer is still on,then you probably havent done any permanent damage to anything yet.

Thanks still its unbeleivable that its running rite now. The temp on it is 108F so thats pretty good huh
