OK ram i think

Alright i need a little help.. i have a amd athlon +3200 built my self runs well. Specs>> ddr ram 512 Nvidia Gefore fx 5700 le 50 gb hd.. i have a few games on the computer, when i try to play them, after about 5 or so mins it closes the game out.? and wont let me play anything.. So i was thinking it was the ram was to slow.. But wasnt to sure.. ram is clocked at 333 so was just wondering if that was the problem.. all drivers are updated.. running windows 2000 pro games are compatiable with operating system.. if anyone can help me please do as soon as posible.. aim me or yahoo me any time if you get a chance thanks

RAM being slow wouldn't make a game crash. RAM having errors would though. Google up the name 'memtest86+' , download that program and then see if your RAM errors. If it does then chances are it's bad RAM, either that or your PSU is too weak, but you've given us little specs to determine if that's the problem
