Default oem ram

is there really that big a difference between 512ddr400 oem and summit of the same size and speed from kingston? i no the timings of the branded will be better buts its in nano seconds, bit fast for me to tell the difference tbh, just thinking oem is half the price (can get 512ddr400 oem for 40 uk pound) and is summit that u cant tell the difference between really worth the exra money.

Personally, Lower latency = better performance.

Can you tell a difference? I'm not sure

But does it make a difference????

Like I understand using some thing like Kingston in a server as I do not want it to fail. But with the home PC, it it worth me speading another 20% on ram just to get an non-OEM ram.

Is the expence justified?
