I just bought one a AMD2500+ to be exact, and well i purchased a thermaltake volcano 12 along with it, but when it came the OEM heatsink looks pretty good atleast compared to what ive had been stuck with back with the thouroughbread, tbirds and etc. Just wanna know if i waisted my money on the thermaltake, heh

No the thermaltake is good but the one it came with would have been absolutly fine. You are probably gaining just a little more performance with the thermaltake but if you dint need it then use the stock one and take the thermaltake back.

I love my volcano 12. It's nice to be able to control the speed of my processor fan. Plus... theres so much potential power (and noise). Plus ... the copper heat sink on the volcano is much more efficient at dissipating heat due to all the fins.

well i want to overclock, but im hearing i cant with the desktop cpu, AMD 2500, now im just trying to find info if the Mobile barton chips are locked or not?
