well if you mean like the PC4800 Gold EL edition I believe it is, which is currently their fastest, tightest timed RAM.

The platinum Rev 2 sticks are among the best OC'ers for PC3200 RAM.

i think im going to get the EL series PC4200 DDR 553 mhz 512x2 its $297.oo cdn what do u guys think, i plan on overclocking with it.

I think you should look at cheaper ram tbh.

im not really worried about the price becuase im working with a budget that allows for some room to play with. other than the price do you think its a good choice ?

Doubt you'd find RAM with as good of quality and specs as those. Mind you they are DDR1 modules that are pretty much already overclocked, but I'm sure they still got some headroom. Considering the Platinum Rev 2's are like $275 I'd say that's a good deal and you should go for it. Heard nothing but awesome OC's and reports from them.

G.Skill has DDR600 memory just released with a guaranteed command rate of 1t with 2.5-4-4-8 timings. Pretty impressive if you ask me.
