Although I would suggest that you wait and get an AGP one unless the PCI-Ex is well worth it (PCI-Ex users can confirm).

Here is some stuff on the AGP version (It is Gamespot and I think you have to be a free member as I am to read it) the 6600 GT.

Like Nubius said, it's the best bang for the buck and it will perform better than last years cards but not todays cards.
