Nvidia or ATI?

I heard that the 4870 is supposed to be like $190 to like $230 is that true? If it is I think I will get that over the 8800GT or the 9600GT because I have heard that it is a great card... But we will have to wait and see.

the 4850 should be around that price
the 4870 will be more expensive, but should be under $300 at least... well under what Nvidia is going to price their new cards.
Performance is yet to be shown from either Nvidia's or ATI's new cards, but either one should have a significant increase over current generation cards.
