NV Silencer 5 and Evga Fan

Is the NV Silencer 5 fan worth buying or does the fan that comes with the Evga 6800 Ultra pretty much do the same job?

if not i'd probably just buy a GF6800 Ultra Copper Heat Sink that evga sells and replace the one on the card instead of buying a new fan.

I've talked to a couple people who have gotten anywhere between 15-30C drops in temps with the NV silencer. I haven't ever heard of a complaint from them so they are definitely worth getting IMO

Yeah, I have had good sucess with the silencer, about a 20c+ drop in load temps. However, it depends what your temps already are to know if its woth it. The Ultra's typically have very good stock cooling, so if your temps are already OK, it might not be worth it.
