Hi
According to Compaq the max amount of ram that my Compaq Armada 1750 notebook can have is 192MB. Currently the notebook has 64MB of PC66 SDRAM built in to the mainboard and a 128MB PC100 SDRAM chip in the expansion slot. I was wondering if it was possible to install more ram than Compaq says I can install. I was thinking of removing the 128MB PC100 chip and installing a 256MB PC133 chip. Also if I did install the 256MB PC133 chip would it run fine at 66MHz FSB? The 128MB PC100 chip seems to run fine at 66MHz.
Thank you for your time.
