I wish to stream video from my computer to my TV. Here's what I have.
1.TV , 42 inch Vizio E3AN420VX using a HMDI cable from a comcast cable modem to TV.

2. Computer, Asus P53E receiving wireless internet signal from wireless router.

3. Router, Valet M20 with wireless out and 4 Ethernet outs.

4. Planning on adding DVD player, LG BP620 Blu-Ray , built in WI-FI.

Present system operates this way:
a. Comcast cable to TV via HDMI cable through comcast modem.
b. Wireless signal from router to computer and printer.

Distance from TV, modem and router in less than 6 feet. The computer and printer are a12 feet away from the router.

Any suggestion on how to do the streaming from my computer to the TV are appreciated.

If I am looking at the correct TV model it looks like it has three HDMI inputs. If so, you can use a HDMI cable from your laptop (it has an HDMI port) to the TV and then select that input option on the TV itself.

I Know I can use the HDMI cable but it would be stretched across the room. I am hoping for a wireless solution.

I purchased a LG DVD wireless player. Solved my problem.
