Noctua to Offer Free Core i7 Retention Upgrades

Just bought a nice and shiny Noctua CPU cooler for your quadcore and irritated that you have to shell out more money for another cooler if you move to Core i7? Noctua has the balm for that irritation by reportedly offering a free LGA-1366 compatibility upgrade. Now only if they had something for that rash of yours.

The Austrian manufacturer plans to throw this offer open shortly, with customers requiring to submit their proofs of purchase online to avail their free retention modules. A public announcement of this offer is expected shortly.
