No sound

have just installed a tv card, at first I had sound on all channels but not on reorded programmes. Now the sound has completely disappeared.

help please

Firstly .. Check the line In ..volume ..See if it's muted ..
Does this happen only when u watch tv ..
Normally when the Tv Tuner's app starts up .. it mutes the volume for a couple of seconds.
CHeck if ur sound cards drivers r coruppted .. Run Dxdiag to that.
