whats the difference between an nforce 3 and nforce 4
chipset??

Basicly Nforce 4 supports PCI-E

nForce4 has PCI-E. Thats the main difference.

pci-e is just the new interface for videocard and eventually sound cards?

i heard its going to hopefully be sound/modem/video and other kinds of cards.... soon pci will be gone i bet...
