Newest driver for HD4870?

hey guys i'm not great when it comes to updating drivers, is this the newest driver for the HD4870?

ATI Radeon HD 4850/4870 Driver Hotfix 8.7 Windows XP(x32/x64)

if it is to install, do i first go on device manager and uninstall my current driver, then download this and install it?

Use Driver Cleaner Pro, and erase all AMD stuff then put your new stuff

cant find any AMD stuff on the dropdown list, only ATI..

there's ATI, ATI CCC, ATI Hydravision, ATI IGP, ATI MMC, ATI remote wonder, ATI TV wonder, ATI uninstall utility and ATI WDM.....

that link isn't working for me... but surely it wont help the fact driver cleaner doesnt have any AMD stuff on its dropdown list to get rid of.

it's an ATI card dude. AMD own ATI so sometimes people call it an AMD card...

oh sorry, so should i delete all those ATi things i mentioned above that diskcleaner has on its dropdown list? tv wonder, ATI, CCC etc? all of them?

So I am guessing you installed it from the disc? and having issues because its outdated?

I meant ATi my bad... I guess the program hasn't gotten used to the fact that AMD runs ATi now
