new video card issues

The computer runs perfect with my 6600 gt installed except for far cry.

My picture on far cry is pretty messed up, I can tell its a lot faster, but all the colors are out of whack, tunnels look bright orange, stairs are so white you cant tell they are stairs, shadows are pitch black, environment looks good. I've messed with all the settings like contrast & brightness but it's still not right and I've tried to enable rendering but it says "not supported"

I switched from a radeon x300 to an nvidia 6600 gt.

I am wondering if part of the problem on far cry is that all my ati drivers are not off of this computer. ATI is not listed under add/remove programs anymore, and I have ran driver cleaner for ATI.

But if I search my C drive then I find all kinds of ATI stuff that I cannot delete & driver cleaner won't remove. I see names like ATI, ATIbtxx, etc and next to it it says C:\WINDOWS\I386\DRIVER.CAB

Anyone know how I can setup far cry to run good?

google up farcry's official site and download the latest patch

double checked it, I did not have the patch installed.

now it plays beautifully, what a badass game.

my only last problem is that it has restarted twice while i'm playing, going to the far cry forum to try to get that one last thing fixed.
