Music : get 2 floorstanding speakers, and a receiver/amp and hook up to ur pc.
Gamer :
1. expensive : logitech z-5500, creative s700, klipsch pro media 5.1
2. cheaper : logitech z5300e, or look at the lower priced creatives.

I go both...more gaming though.

i have an audigy 2 zs. it is a good card. is the only difference between it and the gamer adition is that the gamer come with games? if so, it would be cheaper to just get a audigy 2 zs.
