Ok heres the story, bear with me,
Me and my friend have SAME CPU/MOBO combo, went out and bought SAME dual channel 1gig of ram (2x512). I can run both sticks fine, when he runs both stick his computer will restart during games, frequently (he can run 1 stick fine or 1 stick +dif stick of lower speed ram. MY QUESTION is, does DDR400 ram require considerably more power then that of lower speed ram, enough to where his 400 W power supply is not capable of producing enough and where my 450W is?
