New Monitor Problem

Please help!

I bought a Mitsubishi 2070 SB today. I set it up, turned it on and was disappointed to see that the icons appear to have a ghost image slightly to side of each icon. I've tried to deglaus, I adjusted the moiseur (not sure how to spell that), but they didn't work. I installed the monitor's drivers. The only thing I can think of that haven't tried yet is reinstalling the video card drivers. Not sure if it would be it though because the older monitor was fine.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Your responses will be greatly appreciated.

all that is is the desktop image. Did you perhaps put a custom desktop image on there? because i have noticed, with XP at least if you have anything except for a .JPG file, you will get this uglky drop shadow. Just pick one ofthe default desktop backgrounds and see what that does for you

Thanks for responding. I tried hooking up another computer I have and got the same thing on that rig too. Apparently it's the monitor. I called Mitsubishi and they're sending me a new one. Whew... gotta love that warranty!
