Default New monitor?

Would I be able to get a decent lcd monitor over 20" for under $200?

(decent = good refresh rate, high native resolution, no ghosting)
as for the native resolution, would 1600x1200 be pushing it?

and would it be worth it even though I have a 17" crt? (still in working condition)

that would be hard, but you are in the United States, and prices are different than Canada.

You might get an Acer for that price, but dont expect Viewsonic, Optiquest, or any big brand like that.

i don't think you could get a decent one judging by the conversion of the prices we get here but you guys do get cheaper prices.

are any of them good?

if so/not, please explain why

they all look decent, except for the last one (link doesnt work)

the CONS of these would be low on features, no DVI input, and possibly worse refresh date in MS. Out of those, i would pick the LG, because i trust that brand over the ones you picked.

I agree... I was reviewing them and decided the LG is probably my best bet

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...42#DetailSpecs

I wish it had a higher native resolution... maybe 8ms instead of 12...

I'll keep looking... that might be the one though... /\

edit:
this one has some good reviews... and a $60 rebait

awesome reviews! Mostly excellent!

Providing you have a DVI cable, or you are connecting it the old-fashioned VGA way....its an exceptional value!
