New MB w/existing OS & hardware?

How will my XP OS handle a new MB and all the same hardware as before? I plan to install different brand MB thatÂ’s similar to the former BM.

after you hook everything up and fire up your computer you will have to put in ur windows cd and run a REPAIR installation.. this wont delete any of ur crucial data but itll allow XP to recognize the new mobo... also when you finish repairing windows just fire up the cd that came with ur mobo and install all the chipset drivers n whatnot

Ah, truthfully.. I would just format and reinstall windows. It does enough damage to itself without you having to run dirty repair's.

reinstall...you'll be counting your lucky restarts otherwise....

Hum, I see. Well, I will hope for the best avoiding a complete reinstall. But if not, I'll just have to reinstall.
