Default New Logitech Z-5500, any good?

am in the market again for kick *** speakers. am looking at the new Logitech Z-5500. they seem really kool and kick *** just like the z680s. but them ****s crapped out on my twice. the speaker stoped working, the fuse blew. think i should get them or should i get a really good pair of headphones.

if it was up to me, my sound system would be worth more then the latest and greatest comp.

-Gigabite 880 mobo
-AMD FX -8350 Black edition
-Kingston Hyper X 16gigs
-Western Digital 1Tb HD
-GeForce GTX 660Ti
-thermaltake 850watt psu
-logitech Z-55oo speakers

yeah, i had probs with logitch, bad vibrations in the subwoofer....they were loud though and sounded good other than that. go for the advice i was given, buy a home amp/reciever and some good floor speakers. what i did was get a sony home stereo sys that pushed 400w speakers and subwoofer, cd player, tuner and 2 decks all for $200. sounds great and packs a punch
