actually, 22/7 is only an approximation. it's only correct for 2 digits if you make it a decimal.

*edit*
I think the main reason the Conoe is that fast in math is because of its cache...

This is going to make me get an Intel Processor isn't it... I hope Am2 can outperform this(currently impossible, but its only in really early stages though).

yeah...not trying to downplay conroe or anything but Intel has tranditional scored better on SuperPi as they're built to better handle intensive calculations, so it shouldn't really be a suprise that a next generation Intel processor is sweeping all the old superpi records

It was only a matter of time that intel will take over the market for performance right now......

(not that it has yet, but it is very possible upon the release of the conroe and the other competitor cpus)

AMD was not always the best you know.
And neither was intel..........................

Things swing back and forth, and now it is intels time to shine
Alright I am going to go to bed, flame me all you want.

ya intel has finally got an idea that works again. its not only sweeping the PI tests tho. it has a weaker system than a lot of systems right now running on it and its beating everything. except for PZEROFGH's cpu test . i guess theres a rumor going around that amd is working hard on some pretty awesome chips on xtremesystems. i hope theyre right since it would be awesome to have the two companies right on par with each other.

crazy stuff. It beats out my CPU score in 06 by 108 points, but it's also 200Mhz slower.

Cooooooool. As most people should know, it looks like the pendulum has swung back towards Intel. Now to sit and wait for it to swing back to AMD since I have no money now and maybe by the time it gets back to them I WILL have money
