Default Network card

I don't know a great deal about netwoking, and before I go splashing out on a network card (that I might not need) I'm curious to know if my MoBo supports a built-in network adapter of some kind. Asus A7N8X Deluxe. It features:-

NVIDIA nForce MCP Networking Adapter

3Com 3C920B-EMB Integrated Fast Ethernet Controller

What are these exactly? Do I still need to buy a network card?

i think that one has an ethernet port ON the motherboard, so just plug the ethernet cable into the ethernet port on your motherboard
