Nero Burning Problem

You first need to use (for decoding):

h**p://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/dvd_rippers/dvd_decrypter.cfm




Then use (to shrink):

h**p://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/dvd_rippers/dvd_shrink.cfm


It should automatically use Nero to burn.

Thats not his problem, his problem is getting the drive to work.

ASPI layers are what help to decode and use the drive... I'm not entirely sure what they do, but I can help you find them.

What kind of drive is it?

It's a Phillips DVDR1625k/30

have you checked the jumper settings , set the dvd burner as the master drive and any other roms as the slave, i had a simiar problem and thats how i fixed mine
