Default Need Video Card Help

Hi there,
Looking for help on my old system, what’s the max / best video card this motherboard will run? I have an old 3dfx Voodoo card. My upgraded system consists of the following,
751-k7 style MB (Ultra DMA66)
1g AMD classic slot A CPU
640mg’s PC100/ sdram (clock speed is 100)
V-APG 2x compatible slot / supports 1x and 2x video cards
80g HD
Upgraded from 98se to XP as OS, just trying to get buy with what I have.

Thanks, jimbo

It wouldn't be worth it to buy one of today's video cards for that system. Save your money and build a new system.

beedubaya,
I would be happy with an older used Vcard that would max out the system I have and be better than what I have now in the 3Dfx card. looking for what that card would be.

GF2 MX400 64 MB would push it, though you wouldnt be able to use the 4x AGP.

I ran this card on a p3 500 and it ran not bad.

jimbo, i'm assuming you are going to want to game w/ this new vid card?

ReCoiL, the PCI would be even slower...PCI bad...

well, he certainly doesn't have much of an option with only AGP 2x, especially wit the fact that you can get a half-decent computer for about 500 bucks.

Good point, or build your own for less...
