Need some help

ok my comp at home isnt great im building new one soon as i get some funding from parents, but anyway my lil brother was "fiddlin" with one of the usb ports and stuck a metal fingernail file in there and shorted it out with all this stuff for digital cameras(thing for memory cards dont know what its called) is there anyway to salvage it?

Nope, not worth it. Just go to the store and buy PCI USB Port and put it in one of your empty PCI slots.

i have 5 USB ports but that was the only one on the front of the case its just easy to get to and im not spending anymore on it, its just a lil compaq like pentium 2

well slap ur little brother right acros the face lol. but yea its not that big of a deal to reach around the back anyway not worth it. but u could get a new case but thats a little much for a crappy machine and just wanting a usb in the front. slapp that kid and tell him not to touch anything lol
